Here at TDS, we spend a rather large amount of time thinking about what makes diving so amazing. Besides the obvious things (the wildlife, coral, wrecks, weightlessness and the “cool” factor), it’s about the people. When we think about those things, it tends to leave the most important part unsaid: diving is fun! So the question we asked ourselves was what was one of the most fun days in our lives, where we could play with abandon, enjoy things that normally aren’t something we see in our day to day lives, and how could we do that underwater. It hit us… let’s create a Field Day (like you used to have in grade school, only involving scuba diving).
We have developed a one-of-a-kind customer appreciation day that we think you will love! We are calling it the “Scuba Field Day” and it involves all kinds of activities in which EVERYONE can participate, where we will have prizes, ribbons and, most of all, fun!!
Expect things like underwater beer pong, precision dart challenges, putt-putt on the lake floor, the classic egg-and-spoon race—just slightly more neutrally buoyant and more. We’ll have friendly competition, cheering spectators (yes, even the fish get front-row seats), and plenty of laughs. Whether you’re in it to win, in it for the silliness, or just there to enjoy a relaxed day diving with the community, Scuba Field Day is designed to celebrate what we love most: getting underwater together and having an absolutely ridiculous amount of fun doing it.
